HOLY BOOKS:

Having a home filled with holy books is an important aspect of Jewish life and can be a way to connect to the Jewish tradition and to create a sense of spirituality and holiness in the home.

There are many different holy books that can be found in a Jewish home, including the Chumash, which is a Hebrew Bible that contains the five books of Moses (also known as the Torah); the Psalms, which is a book of prayers and praises; and a prayer book, which contains the daily and holiday prayers. Other holy books that may be found in a Jewish home include the Talmud, which is a collection of Jewish law and commentary; the Zohar, which is a book of kabbalistic teachings; and other books of Jewish teachings and teachings.

In the Chabad-Lubavitch movement, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, encouraged Jews to furnish their homes with as many holy books as possible, including the Chumash, Psalms, and a prayer book. The Rebbe emphasized the importance of having holy books in the home as a way to connect to the Jewish tradition and to create a sense of spirituality and holiness in the home.
